- 2.4. Mixer Console Mode

- In the mixer console mode, the sequence window is divided into 10 blocks.
- For each block, you can specify an event type to be displayed in the block,
- and a view type. Further, you can change the size of each block freely. The
- way to change the size of the block or the way to specify event type to be
- display in the block are same as in the graphical mode. In this mode,
- parameters of MIDI events which are sent to the MIDI out port are displayed
- in real time.

- Contents of the block display area are depended on the event type:

- Note events:
- There are three view-types: Note map, Velocity and Keyboard.
- In the "Note map" view, note events which are currently turned on are
- displayed as a rectangle at a position corresponding to: the note
- number on vertical axis and the velocity value on horizontal axis. Ways
- to vertical scrolling or zooming are same as ways in "Piano roll" view
- in the graphical mode.
- In the "Velocity" view, velocity level meters are displayed.
- In the "Keyboard" view, note events in the specified channel are
- displayed as inverted keys on the picture of the keyboard.
- All note events are drawn in channel colors.
- Continuous event:
- Parameters of continuous events are displayed as level meters.
- Program change event:
- Program change events are displayed as hexadecimal numbers (with
- program names if a program name list is available).
- System exclusive event, Meta event:
- System exclusive events and meta events are not displayed in the mixer
- console mode.
- others:
- This block type is used to display other special events. At the current
- version, The XF or the KAR lyrics are displayed.
